Currently she's completely stock but I'm loving life in her already! Not great but better than the 6km stock. So I just unlocked and bought the Iowa. Melts planes from the sky, gives my AA 100 rating, and helps accuracy of main guns. With a High Tier USN BB with very solid AA, you're feeling pretty dang good. In a CV match, other BBs with poor AA are sweating with worry. But again, a very costly build to have the best of both worlds. Still, with a bare minimum 18 pts, you can have BFT+AFT+Manual AA+CE. The real changer is whether you go hardcore and add Manual AA trait, but that is a very expensive venture if you also want stealth / CE. To build upon that, you can have AFT+BFT to make the AA very strong but it may not be enough against the very rare X CVs because the planes are so fast. Iowa can easily incorporate AAGM2 for buffing AA and APRM2 for buffing main battery dispersion. And I consider myself an average CV player at best, certainly not a good or unicum CV player with far better habits, practices. I take note of such ships and look for them. But then you got some CV players that do preview everyone's stats like I do in the Team Members tab while the match is still loading, and can tell if any ship is AA spec'd or not. Some CV players take that at face value and leave you alone, at least early on. People trash on AA builds, but the moment a CV shows up, they come to these boards and complain about CVs and how they got face f-d in the mouth by them.Īlso, High Tier USN BBs have a reputation for great AA. Something else I could be doing with my Iowa? I have a full 100 AA build on my Iowa.in the several matches I've played.pretty sure I've seen CV's maybe 3 times.and even then they flat out ignore me.
